We are writing from South Hill to proudly share one of our favorite reports of the year. The annual impact report showcases the many ways that the generosity of the Ithaca College community is making a tangible difference in the lives of our students.
We see here the immense power of working together—alumni, families, faculty, staff, and friends—to create something larger than ourselves: immeasurable and lasting impacts on IC’s academic excellence, enhanced student services, and greatly expanded access to our rich learning community.
We would like to highlight a few pieces from this report. You will see one story centering on the value of planned giving and another showcasing how gifts support students’ experiential learning. One program helps students in anatomy and physiology, and another allows Roy H. Park School of Communications students to gain hands-on learning experiences through the Special Opportunities for Students (SOS) Fund. A profile features a 2016 graduate who is already paying it forward through guest lectures and mentoring opportunities, and another story details the way your generosity is helping students when they need it most, by providing funds to fight food insecurity, offer emergency relief, and support student wellness.
Every student at Ithaca College is affected in some way by the generosity of our donors. We present this impact report not only to share our pride in the investments we are currently making in enriching the student experience but also to encourage others to join us in our mission. You can see from this report some of the amazing work we are doing, but these are mere glimpses of what we can create with your support.
Thank you again for your partnership and your commitment to Ithaca College.
