Three Politics majors presented papers at the 15th annual Political Science Conference at SUNY Oneonta April 11-12.
Quin Fireside and Richard Martin presented their paper, "Suicide Terrorism and Self-Immolation: The Politics of Taking Your Life".
Ashan Chandrasena presented his paper "Laïcité contre liberté religieuse (Secularism vs Religious Freedom)".
SUNY Oneonta's Political Science Department and Political Science Club have sponsored this conference since 2009, bringing together undergraduates from across upstate New York to present original research in the fields of Political Science, International Studies, Africana Studies, Latino Studies, Anthropology, Women and Gender Studies, History, Sociology and related fields.
