If you want to vote for President of the United States on Tuesday November 5, 2024, there are some things you’ll need to do prior to November!
To qualify to vote:
- Must be 18 years of age at the time of the election
- Must be a US citizen
- Other requirements vary by state
Most states require you to register to vote 2-4 weeks before the election. You can check your state’s requirements and register to vote here: https://vote.gov/
Students, you can register to vote using your permanent (home) address OR using your IC (campus) address (you may NOT register using both).
Take a look over the summer, make some decisions about where you want to register and get registered to vote.
