Park Students,
The Park School of Communications requires all incoming first-year students to purchase a laptop equipped with a uniform software suite.
The next page will present two 15" MacBook Pro models and one 17" model, all available at a significant discount under retail. Students who plan to do a lot of video editing may find the larger screen and increased RAM easier to work with, but all of the models listed will meet the requirements of all degree programs in the Park School.
We have also negotiated discounts on the Microsoft Office package, which is the only software required by the laptop program during your first year on campus. If you plan to use your computer before coming to campus you may want to purchase the Norton anti-virus product offered, or you can wait until your arrival and download the McAfee "VirusScan" product from Information Technology Services at no cost.
