Water Aerobics

• Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

• Water Aerobics is available free to all members of the outdoor pool. Childcare is not provided.

Outdoor Pool Rules and Policies

• No entry unless lifeguard is present
• Valid ID is required to enter
• Individuals under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• No glass containers, alcoholic beverages or food permitted in pool area
• No smoking in or around pool area
• Appropriate bathing attire is REQUIRED (no cutoffs, no pants, etc..)
• Small children and infants MUST wear rubber pants
• Showers are REQUIRED prior to entering the water
• Diving in designated areas only
• Swim aids or flotation devices must be approved by the lifeguard on duty before their use in the pool.
• No running or horseplay allowed
• Guests of members are required to pay $2/day for adults: $1/day for children

OUTDOOR POOL MEMBERSHIPS

The Ithaca College Outdoor Pool is open only to Ithaca College students, alumni, faculty/staff and their immediate family and Friends of Ithaca College. The Outdoor Pool is not open to the public. Valid Ithaca College ID cards or Outdoor Pool membership card MUST be presented in order to gain access to the pool.

- STUDENTS

All enrolled Ithaca College students have automatic membership at the Outdoor Pool. Ithaca College seniors who have just recently graduated have membership until the end of the summer. All students must present a valid Ithaca College student ID card. Family of students may pay a guest fee to enter the pool.

- ITHACA COLLEGE FACULTY/STAFF

All benefits eligible faculty/staff of Ithaca College, along with their spouses, domestic partners and dependents have automatic membership to the Outdoor Pool. All eligible family members must be listed with the Human Resource Office.

• Faculty/staff members – must present a valid Ithaca College Faculty/Staff ID card.

• Family members 16 years of age and older – must go to the ID Office, located in the East Balcony of the Terrace Dining Hall for a Fitness Center/Outdoor Pool picture ID card.

• Family members under 16 years of age – parent must fill out an Outdoor Pool membership form for the dependents. No ID’s will be issued to dependents under 16 years of age and a parent or guardian MUST accompany them at all times.

- ALUMNI

Alumni of Ithaca College may purchase a family membership for the Outdoor Pool for $150 or an individual membership for $100. The family membership includes spouses/domestic partners and dependents. All members 16 years of age or older will receive a yellow Outdoor Pool membership card good for one summer.

- FRIENDS OF ITHACA COLLEGE

Friends of Ithaca College may purchase a family membership for the Outdoor Pool for $150 or an individual membership for $100. The family membership includes spouses/domestic partners and dependents. All members over 16 will be given a Outdoor Pool membership card good for one year.

The Friends of Ithaca College are local area residents who work together to strengthen the bond between the community and Ithaca College. They also support a scholarship fund that enables deserving area students to receive an IC education. Membership in the Friends is $150 the first year and $200 after the first donation.
