Student Media Award Roundup for 2021-22

By Desiree Holz '23, July 26, 2022
Student work is recognized at the state and national level.

Ithaca College’s student media organizations are annually recognized for their professional level work. The 2021-2022 academic year brought national attention to the college’s various organizations.

“Our co-curriculars are critically important to our mission,” said Jack Powers, interim dean of the Roy H. Park School of Communications. “It's not just about what you learn in class, it's also about what you learn as a part of these organizations. When we say we're hands-on from day one, that's not just lip service; we mean it. Our student-run, award-winning co-curriculars continue to do us proud. They help make the Park School what it is today. I also want to give praise [Ithacan student media advisor] Casey Musarra '11 and [manager of television and radio operations] Jeremy Menard. Without their guidance for our students, we don't bring home the hardware.”
