Public Safety Investigating Two Reported Burglaries
The Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management is investigating two reported burglaries that occurred in Rowland Hall and Tallcott Hall on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, and Thursday, September 5, 2024, respectively. The personal items that were stolen include a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X gaming system.
At this time, there are no suspects or suspect descriptions.
Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our campus community, and we believe that timely and transparent communication is crucial in ensuring everyone remains vigilant and takes necessary precautions.
Anyone having information pertaining to these incidents is encouraged to contact the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management at 607-274-3333. If you have experienced signs of unauthorized entry into your residence hall room or campus apartment, please contact Public Safety immediately.
Members of the campus community are reminded to store valuables in a secure area, always lock their offices, rooms, and apartments, and immediately report any unusual or suspicious activity to the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management or local law enforcement agency.
