Senior Graduation Information

Applying to Graduate

Students will need to submit an application for graduation (apply to graduate) in HomerConnect.  For a step-by-step guide on how to do so please click here.

Please note that UG students will need a minimum of 85 earned credits and Graduate Students a minimum of 15 earned credits to access the application.  If you need to make a change to your application after you have submitted it, please email registrar@ithaca.edu for assistance.

This is not the same as registering for Commencement.  The application for graduation only lets us know that you are approaching the end of your degree requirements, how you would like your name to appear on your diploma, and where we should send it.

Students may participate in the Commencement Ceremony that aligns with their graduation date, the one before or the one after.  For example, a student graduating in May 2025 is eligible to participate in the December 2024, May 2025 or December 2025 Commencement Ceremonies.  For more information, please visit the Ithaca College Commencement Page.

Attention Seniors: May 2025 Honor Cord Information

Distribution for Latin honor cords will be forthcoming for December 2025 graduates.

This calculation and deadline is for the purposes of the ceremony only and does not affect the final awarded degree or transcript.
Changes will not be made to ceremony honors status or distribution of honor cords after February 1, 2025.

If you have any questions, please contact registrar@ithaca.edu.
