Chloe Johnston is a senior journalism major with minors in education studies and Spanish. Chloe is originally from San Diego, California. She spent Summer 2024 studying Spanish language and literature at the University of Salamanca in Spain. Chloe holds multiple leadership positions on campus — she is the administrative tutor for the Writing Center, a teaching assistant for the journalism department, the Opinion Editor for The Ithacan and the co-editor of Upfront and News & Views for Buzzsaw Magazine. Chloe is currently volunteering with the Finger Lakes Independence Center and the Village at Ithaca. She is also facilitating Art Club at Beverly J. Martin Elementary. Previously, she has worked as a broadcast journalism counselor with Pali Adventures Summer Camp, as a literacy interventionist for Hendersonville Elementary School in South Carolina, and as a producer for ICTV.
