Adam Mocho is a Sports Media major and Advertising, Public Relations, and Marketing Communications minor in his third year at Ithaca College. This year, he is continuing his service work with other fellow Park Scholars at The Village at Ithaca, supporting underprivileged students through media and acting as a facilitator for the group. A highlight of this group’s diligent work was a documentary, Restoring Joy, that premiered this past spring. Adam was an assistant producer on the project and is excited to produce additional impactful work this year, mentoring students as they create a series of radio features and podcasts, Restoring Voices. Adam is also serving the community with Loaves and Fishes of Tompkins County, providing meals and hospitality to those in need. For a second summer season, he was fortunate to work as a Headset Tech and BallPark Camera Operator for Chris Fickes ‘80 (CKF Consulting) in coordination with Major League Baseball and MLB Network. Adam was involved with Replay Review powered by Zoom as a liaison for ballpark/umpire connections to the MLB Replay Operations Center and worked as a facilitator for on field interviews for MLB Network. This position entailed working in Cleveland at Progressive Field and Pittsburgh at PNC Park. Adam is a member of the varsity cross country and track and field teams at Ithaca where, as a student-athlete, participates in Leadership Academy and represents cross country on the Student-Athlete Advisory Council. Beginning this fall, Adam will also be volunteering on the Social Media Committee, helping to oversee the cross country and track social media accounts.
