Augustine Daudu is a second-year Advertising, Public Relations & Marketing Communications student with a minor in Live Event Design and Management. Last year he volunteered at College Initiative Upstate (CIU), an educational organization in Tompkins County designed to help people with barriers to higher education. He designed graphics as well as recorded and edited videos to raise awareness of CIU’s services, which gave him the chance to apply what he learned in the classroom in real life. On campus, he was involved in the American Advertising Federation, ICTV, and The Ithacan. This year, he is excited to continue his service with CIU, as well as assist residents at McGraw House with their technological needs in a group with other Park Scholars. He will also also continue his work at ICTV and begin working with Park Promotions, the in-house ad agency for the Park School, and the Ithaca Athletics Creative Media team. He is also a Commencement Communications Assistant at IC. Over on East Hill, Augustine is a production assistant with Cornell University Athletics. Augustine hopes that this year will be full of great learning experiences, and believes that everything is an opportunity to improve.
