Alex Lier - Quiz Bowl

Alex participated EATA quia bowl

Our Master’s in Athletic Training student, Alex Lier attended the EATA Quiz Bowl, a Jeopardy-style competition for National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) student members. Teams from across the district compete for the District Quiz Bowl trophy, and the top three winners earn the opportunity to represent their district at the NATA Quiz Bowl competition during the national convention. It was an exciting event that showcased students' knowledge, teamwork, and passion for the profession!

Acute Care Lab

Ice tub immersion activity

Our Master’s in Athletic Training students practiced managing heat stroke cases in the Acute Care lab. In this hands-on session, students worked together to quickly and efficiently transport a patient into an ice water immersion tub—one of the most effective treatments for exertional heat stroke. This training reinforces the importance of immediate cooling and teamwork in emergency situations.

Athletic Training Student Lounge

MAT student lounge

Our Master’s in Athletic Training students enjoying the new student lounge, made possible by the generous support of the Kent Scriber Fund donors! This space provides a comfortable environment for studying, collaborating, and unwinding between classes. Thanks to our donors, we were also able to order new lab gear for hands-on labs in our athletic training courses, enhancing the learning experience for our students. We appreciate your support in making this possible!
