I want to be a PA so I can work towards rectifying existing healthcare disparities and bridge the gap between providers and access to healthcare. Having lateral mobility and autonomy in my career is extremely important to me. I chose Ithaca because it reminds me of home. Attending a school that focuses so much on mental health and well-being for learners was a huge priority for me. I am looking forward to evolving into a medical professional who can work well in diverse groups of people/providers all while giving quality and personal care to patients.
