I want to advance my medical career and improve access to healthcare. Working as part of team in collaboration with other healthcare professionals in order to strive for a patients best outcome is the career path I envision myself in for the rest of my life. Ultimately, helping people gives me great joy and I love learning about medicine. I chose the Ithaca College PA Program because of their mission and values. The strong emphasis on diversity and inclusion is vital to a successful program. Not only is it an honor to be apart of the start of a new program, it is also evident how excited the staff/learners are to be here. I am very excited for clinical rotations, being able to apply learned knowledge to real life patients is what will keep me motivated. As a future PA, I am excited to make an impact on communities and emphasize how important access to healthcare is.
