Growing up as a “third-culture” kid while living in multiple countries has shaped my passions in history and international politics. I am interested in political and social history, particularly analyzing the different decolonization movements during the 20th century, as well as political theory. I believe that analyzing these subjects serve as important guides towards better understanding the practical and ideological elements of contemporary social movements, calls for reform, and even the development of revolutions that we see across the world today. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about the history department or how to manage a double major at Ithaca College.
