A beach, a caverned rock, a general's office, a vacant road, the underworld. Take Antigone, protagonist of Sophocles' famous tragedy, and place her into each of these settings. Five storytellers and one woman trying to bury her brother in peace. These five female playwrights explore what happens when a woman challenges the male authority and the unjust rules of society.
