Applicants to the B.M. in Composition program are required to provide additional materials with their Audition Form submission.
Composition Audition Requirements
B.M. in Composition Requirements
- Students applying for a B.M. in Composition will be asked to submit two (2) scores of original works (with sound files, if possible). These will be uploaded as part of their Audition Form.
- B.M. in Composition applicants have the option to audition on an instrument to be considered for a Composition degree with a Performance emphasis. Differences between the tracks within the Composition degree can be found on the B.M. in Composition Catalog Page.
- If you are interested in the Performance emphasis, you will need to satisfy the listed audition requirements, as well as pre-screening requirements (if necessary).
- B.M. in Composition applicants will then complete an interview with our Composition faculty. This will be part of the audition day process.
