STUDY ABROAD ADVISING

The Office of International Programs is located in 074 Peggy Ryan Williams Center.  We are open M-TH, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. during summer. We recommend scheduling an appointment if you wish to speak with someone about studying abroad. You can browse our availability and schedule an appointment with a study abroad advisor at a time convenient for you. You can also view the schedule of study abroad information sessions to help you start planning for study abroad.

PASSPORT PROCESSING DELAYS

If you are planning to study abroad in the near future, please be aware that the US State Department still lists lengthy processing times for passport issuance.  If you don’t yet have a passport or need to renew your passport before traveling, you should apply NOW!  If you wait to apply for a passport, you may miss your chance to study abroad.  For more information and passport application instructions, click here.

The Office of International Programs aims to offer students high-quality international experiences. Research has demonstrated that studying abroad effectively cultivates global citizenship and valuable intercultural skills, which students can apply personally and professionally throughout their lives. At Ithaca College, students of all majors can participate in semester-long and short-term study abroad programs if they plan proactively.
