Rosanna Aybar has more than two decades of experience working in nonprofits, and has a background in finance, operations, human resources and IT management. In her current role as vice president of finance and administration and assistant treasurer of the William T. Grant Foundation, an organization that supports research to improve the lives of young people ages 5-25 in the United States, Rosanna oversees the external managers of the foundation’s endowment, and is responsible for the foundation’s budget, accounting, audit, human resources and information technology systems.
From 2002-2017, Rosanna was chief financial officer/chief administrative officer of the Posse Foundation, an organization that provides educational opportunities in communities across the country. Prior to joining Posse, Rosanna served as Accountant & Assistant to the Chief Investment Officer and VP of Finance at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Manhattan College, where she taught a capstone course to students in their senior year.
Rosanna currently serves on the Finance Committee for Philanthropy New York, and is a member of the Foundation Financial Officers Group (FFOG), the COO Roundtable, and the Society of Human Resources Management.
Rosanna holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Manhattan College, and lives in New York City.
