Many things impact our relationships with our bodies and ourselves—
Body image
Identities and the challenges, injustices, and joys that come with them
Diet and exercise culture
Family dynamics
Stress and self-care
Social connections and support networks
Social media
Self-worth
The list goes on! And all of it is important to talk about with folks who understand and care. This support group allows open, confidential discussion about these issues, and welcomes IC students who long to create more peaceful relationships with their bodies, food, exercise, and themselves.
New members are welcome to join anytime throughout the semester. If you are interested, please call 607-274-3136 for a brief individual meeting with the facilitator to discuss the group and how it can support you in your goals.
This group is designed for students of all identities for whom an outpatient level of care is appropriate.
