The CFE will facilitate writing productivity groups this summer. Write Now provides dedicated time and space for faculty to share and complete writing goals. Take this time to work on your summer writing goals, or to preparing your promotion file (if relevant for you). Each session begins with goal reporting and concludes with a sharing-out of progress. Summer sessions, run by CFE-collaborator Marilyn Dispensa, will be conducted via Zoom, with some options for in-person.
Please indicate your interest by June 15th

Department Chairs for the 2024-2025 academic year are invited to embark on an innovative journey toward leadership excellence with our Chair Leadership Academy. Designed for new and experienced chairs, this series will help you anticipate challenges, build practical skills, cultivate community, and drive positive change. The program will kick off on June 13 with workshop leader Kathryn Burkgren, founder of Placid Coaching, and will continue through the summer with light reading, and small group gatherings during the academic year. Join us in helping to shape department leadership.

Take advantage of the summer to dive into a professional book you've been wanting to read but couldn't find the time for during the busy academic year. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge, gain new insights, and discover innovative ideas that can enrich your teaching and professional development. Readers are asked to join together in the Fall semester for a single discussion group designed to share out your insights (refreshments will be provided). Email us at cfe@ithaca.edu to reserve your copy and make arrangements to pick up your book. Happy reading!
Faculty should check their inboxes to view the reading options!
