Our Mission
ICare at a Glance
An ICare referral is a short, straightforward, non-emergent form that's available online, 24/7. Individuals are invited to submit a referral if they’re worried about an IC student for any reason. Students are also encouraged to refer themselves if they are seeking assistance. Students can be referred for a multitude of reasons, though most referrals are made in response to mental health, interpersonal, or adjustment difficulties. The goal of ICare is to help students connect with supports and resources, both on and off-campus.

If you're concerned about a student's well-being, please consider submitting an ICare referral:
Please note that ICare referrals are only reviewed during normal business hours and may take up to 3 business days to be reviewed. If your concern is emergent, please contact the Office of Public Safety at (607)274-3333.
Faculty/Staff-Unsure of where to start? Visit the Support or Refer a Student website. This decision tree is designed to help you quickly and accurately determine the most effective referral resource for each student.
If you're concerned about a student's academics, please consider submitting an Academic Alert:
For more information when to submit an ICare Referral vs when to submit an Academic Concern please visit our Differentiating Academic Concerns from ICare Referrals wepage. If you have difficulty submitting an Academic Concern please email success@ithaca.edu.
