Assistant Professor David Hajjar in the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Department published a paper in the journal Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in December, 2020.
The paper reports on an online training program for community-based volunteers who support people with complex communication needs. Dr. Hajjar used single subject design methodology to evaluate the effectiveness of the online training program. The online program focused on training volunteers to create opportunities for communication and interaction by capturing and sharing digital media from recreational experiences.
