Enjoy performing music? Looking for an extra/different class for your Spring Semester? Then join us in Campus Band this semester!
Campus Band is looking for additional wind, brass, and percussion players to join us this coming semester on Monday evenings (6pm-7:50pm). After such a long period of social isolation I am extremely excited to make music in person together! We will be running rehearsals in creative and interesting ways to ensure that we are gathering and playing instruments in the safest manner possible.
We have performed music from films like Lord of the Rings and The Incredibles, as well as wind band classics by composers like Grainger and Ticheli. This semester will also begin a commitment towards performing music by composers from traditionally under-represented groups.
There is no audition required, so if you are interested in joining us you may just register for "MUNM 10300" in Homer. Our class can be taken for 0 or 1 credits. If you have any questions please reach out to me at lmenchaca@ithaca.edu.
