The SAB has two open chair positions available this Spring, which include a Treasurer and a Comedy Chair. The application and the descriptions of the positions are below.
Descriptions:
Both roles are expected to attend weekly SAB meetings and each SAB event. While these roles have specific responsibilities, every member of SAB can contribute creative ideas and works together with one another.
Treasurer: Will be responsible for keeping the SAB budget up to date with any current spending and will complete spending request forms on IC Engage, working with the Student Org Business Coordinator when necessary. Prepares budget reports for the committee and assists board members with budgeting questions when necessary. There are not any math skills needed for being our treasurer, just organizational and communication skills.
Comedy Chair: Oversees two comedy events each semester, working with the Executive Chair to choose and book an artist as well as working with other SAB members to align on promotion and marketing of the event. Will assist in finding student openers for comedy shows or collaborating with other clubs when necessary.
