Intercultural Career Connections

By Cheryl Rotyliano, February 10, 2021

Intercultural Career Connections is a longstanding program at IC that invites the voices of alumni of color to return and engage with students in focused dialogue about post-graduate career experiences. This year, alumni will focus on the theme “How do I Move Forward, Now?” Despite the challenges that COVID presents, how can you regain your footing and get back on track with your goals? How can you successfully jump back on-campus after isolation?

 Alumni speakers include:

  •  Ahmad Boyd, Class of '17: Sport Studies, Psychology and coaching minor; currently the Assistant Director of Student Services and Academics for Chicago State University Athletics
  • Lia Munoz, Class of '16: Politics, MLK Scholar; currently College Counselor at Rochester Prep High School
  • Tanya Hutchins, Class of '89: TVR, broadcast journalism concentration; currently a Communications Representative

This event will include “TEDTalk” style presentations for the first 20 minutes, then breakout into rooms for discussions with the alumni.
