Library Interlibrary Loan Updates!

By Sarah Shank, February 10, 2021

In an effort to centralize requests for all items, Interlibrary Loan requests will now be made directly through the library catalog!

The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) department attempts to retrieve materials that the Ithaca College Library doesn't have in its collection.  Our requesting and fulfillment process has changed.

To request an ILL:

  • Sign in to your Library account
  • Search for the item you need (in a database or the library search).
  • Click "Get It", click "Interlibrary Loan" ,verify information in the form, and click submit.
  • Not finding the item you need?  Click on "Interlibrary Loan" at the top of the page to fill out a blank form.

Articles will be delivered by a link to your e-mail.  Please contact borrowing@ithaca.edu if you receive an incorrect article, or the scan quality is poor.

Physical items can be scheduled for pick-up or curbside (an e-mail will be sent with a link to schedule when items arrive).

If you  would like a history of  your requests from the old ILL system, please contact borrowing@ithaca.edu before March 15, 2021.

Please contact borrowing@ithaca.edu with any Interlibrary Loan questions!

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Sarah Shank at sshank@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3891. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
