Ready to take a T-break from cannabis use? Get paid to participate in aresearch study!

By Nancy Reynolds, April 30, 2021

Thinking of taking a tolerance break? Our colleagues at the University of Vermont are launching a research study to gauge the effectiveness of harm reduction materials in helping people pause their cannabis use.  Anyone 18+ is welcome to participate.  They are looking for people willing to take a 21 day tolerance break.  You’ll be asked to take a survey before and after.  You will be paid $30 as two Amazon gift cards ($10 after the first survey; $20 after the second survey). For more information- or to join- please reach out to Tom Fontana at tom.fontana@uvm.edu

For personal support in making changes related to your use of cannabis, consider the IC BASICS Program! BASICS consists of 1 or 2 confidential meetings (virtual) to explore your use and help you identify practical strategies for change. To schedule an appointment, send an email with your availability to healthpromotion@ithaca.edu.

IC BASICS is a program of the Center for Health Promotion.
