Gisela Rosa (Sociology Class of 2022) publishes research on the Work and Family Researchers Network

Gisela Rosa (Sociology Class of 2022) published her research on paid sick leave on the Work and Family Researchers Network.  Gisela located the most recent scholarship and policy information on paid sick leave, identifying 7 major questions and 30 reliable facts to  answer those questions.  Her findings have been disseminated to more than 300 international scholars.  Her publication is also publicly available on the WFRN website at https://wfrn.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Paid-Sick-Leave-Rosa-5-10-21-1.pdf.  Gisela is a junior at Ithaca College (IC) where she is currently working towards her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a double minor in Education Studies and Legal Studies. Her career plans are to pursue a master’s degree in African American Studies or Social and Cultural Analysis after her graduation in May 2022, while still working as an alumnus at The Brotherhood/Sister Sol.
