Stephen Tropiano, professor of screen studies and director of the Ithaca College Los Angeles Program, published an essay on the short-lived 1990 television version of FERRIS BUELLER's DAY'S OFF.
The essay, entitled FERRIS BUELLER vs. PARKER LEWIS: "Adapting" FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF for Television," appears in THE FILMS OF JOHN HUGHES, an anthology of essays recently published by Edinburgh University Press, on the iconic writer/director of 1980s teen films.
TV's FERRIS BUELLER starred Ithaca College musical theatre alum Charlie Schlatter in the title role and was co-written and co-produced by communications alum, Michael J. DiGaetano.
