Creative & Marketing Group Sprint: June 14-July 30

Our Creative & Marketing Group is deeply engaged in the development of Ithaca College’s first brand platform and strategy. This is critical infrastructure work and is identified as a key goal in the Ithaca Forever Strategic Plan. 

We have reached an important moment in this process that, not unlike other infrastructure work (think major new IT systems, physical plant projects, etc.), requires an intensive and focused period of effort to prepare for the start of a soft launch near the start of the fall semester. Therefore, we will be dedicating our efforts to this project and will have limited availability from June 14- July 30.  

During this window, we are unable to accept new project requests. The highest priority and most time-sensitive continued work will take place as necessary.

For agreed upon projects due this fall, we encourage campus partners to plan and organize details on your end during this stretch, so together we can move swiftly in August to tackle other work. Our team has already shared this information with vice presidents, deans, and other members of the College Leadership Team. We will also touch base with individual campus partners who have projects currently underway to discuss detailed plans for ensuring continuity with those efforts once we move through this six-week sprint.  

This is an incredibly exciting moment in the college’s history, and I am confident that the long term pay-off of a comprehensive brand platform for IC is well worth it.
