Here at IC, we define a first-generation college student as: Students (and their siblings) who are the first in their family to attend and graduate from a four-year residential college in the U.S. are considered First-Gen.
As a first-generation student at Ithaca College, you are able to receive text messages that provide you with information on dates and deadlines, upcoming events, resources on campus, and much more! These texts will come from successtexting@ithaca. If you have not received these texts yet, but are interested in receiving them please complete this form so we can add your phone number to the system. If in the future you change your mind, you can always opt-out of this messaging.
We have also created images that you can add to your email signature to let others know you are a proud first-gen student! Please visit our website for information on how to download the image and add it to your signature.
