Technical Issues with IC Health Badge

By Dan DeCaria, August 23, 2021

Ithaca College Campus Community:

On the morning of Monday, August 23, 2021, the Hammond Health Center discovered a technical issue in the IC Health Badge system utilized by students to display COVID-19 compliance. This issue is causing some students' badges to read "non-compliant" when they should, in fact, be displaying a "compliant" green badge.

The Hammond Health Center is working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. Until then, all areas that utilize the badge system should permit students to enter even if a "green" badge cannot be displayed. This includes all in-person classes, varsity athletics practices, student activities and events, and other areas of campus that require badge display for student access or participation.

Ithaca College will distribute a campus-wide communication immediately once the issue has been resolved. In the meantime, please do not contact the Hammond Health Center regarding badge-related issues until we have completed our investigation and implemented a solution to this issue.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,
The Hammond Health Center
