Ithaca College's student-run radio and television stations have been named finalists in a pair of national college student media award competitions.
On Wednesday, August 25th, the College Media Association (CMA) named Ithaca College Television (ICTV) one of five finalists for its 2020-21 Television Station of the Year Pinnacle Award. In addition, WICB-FM was named one of four finalists for CMA's 2020-21 Radio Station of the Year Pinnacle Award. Both stations are entered in the four-year college category. WICB took first place in the competition last year. Click here for the full list of finalists. Winners will be announced at the ACP/CMA Fall National College Media Convention held from October 14th - 17th in New Orleans, LA.
In addition, both WICB and ICTV were named finalists in the following categories in the College Broadcasters Inc. (CBI) National Student Production Awards competition.

Finalists were announced over an online video presentation on Wednesday, August 25th. Winners will be announced during CBI's National Student Electronic Media Convention October 27th - 30th in Orlando, Fl.
WICB is Ithaca College's FCC licensed radio station, heard locally at 91.7 FM. The station is on the air 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week, 365-days-a-year. WICB also streams online at wicb.org and can be heard using the 92 WICB iOS mobile app and through iHeartRadio and TuneIn Radio.
ICTV is Ithaca College's student-operated television production organization serving 26,000 Tompkins County cable households with a variety of community oriented programming. The station's programming airs locally on Spectrum Channel 16 and also streams at ictv.org.
