The Center for Creative Technology(CCT) offers specialized spaces designed to foster learning and creativity. Located on the first floors of Job Hall and Friends Hall, the CCT is a service of Ithaca College Information Technology and consists of three sections: the Digital Story Lab, the Makerspace, and the CredX Learning Lab. All spaces are open to students, staff, and faculty Monday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. Reservations for workstations and equipment can be made at Ithaca.siso.co/cct.

Our Digital Story Lab located in Job 102 offers high-end Alienware PCs loaded with the Adobe Suite for all photo and video editing and producing needs. If podcasting or audio recording interests you, we have a sound booth equipped with three Rode microphones, a Rode audio mixer, and a Mac desktop. The Digital Story Lab also offers headset checkouts and VR experiences ranging from classroom applications like 3D Organon to popular games such as Beat Saber!

The CCT Makerspace located in Friends 102 provides the tools to bring your digital ideas into physical space. The Makerspace offers two Cricut makers, ready to cut and apply vinyl, fabric, paper, sticker paper and more. Come in and use up to 40g of PLA filament on our Dremel Digilab 3D printer, or try your hand at sewing with our two Bernina sewing machines! Our Dremel Laser cutter carves clean cuts and burns smooth engravings into wood, acrylic, vinyl, paper, and some leather and stone. All of the makerspace staff are trained to teach you how to use each asset, and will provide assistance as needed.

Located in Job 103, the CredX Learning Lab is home to our Oculus Quest 2 headsets, where we collaborate with professors to bring VR to the classroom. The Creative Technology Specialists will also be hosting learning groups and creative workshops in this space, including sessions on Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and Illustrator. Workshops begin soon, so be sure to check in on IC Engage and the Intercom. We look forward to seeing you!
