The 16th Streets Alive! Ithaca festival is Sunday, September 19, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
This perennial open-streets festival will be held on Cayuga Street, from Ithaca High School to Court Street. From a "bike rodeo" to Circus Culture acrobatics to strolling musicians, there is something for everyone.
The event takes 50+ volunteers to make it a reality, including volunteers to: help close the streets to cars, take photos of the action, serve as roving bike mechanics, and encourage people to have fun.
