Zinhle also has experience behind the camera as a documentary filmmaker, with titles that include The Minority Vote, about issues that faced millennials during the 2016 election, and the award-winning Hands Up (2015), which follows stories of the Black Lives Matter movement.

In 2019 she moderated a United Nations Youth Climate Summit town hall, with the UN Deputy Secretary-General. And earlier this year, Zinhle hosted a one-hour special documentary, released by NowThis and discovery+, centered on the broader challenges of the climate crisis and including a one-on-one interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.

During this live virtual event, students will have the chance to ask Zinhle about her career as a journalist and filmmaker. Register for the Zoom Webinar using your school email here.
