Dr. Susan Salahshor and Professor Melodie Kolmetz from the Ithaca College PA program were honored to present “Using Trauma-Informed Principles in Your Educational Practice” at the Physician Assistant Educational Association national conference on October 12.
This presentation aligns with the values of the IC PA program, including cultivating and encouraging a culture of physical and emotional wellness, demonstrating respect for all humans, creating a supportive environment, and utilization of an equity framework. It was well-attended and well-received.
The IC PA program team is working hard to foster the success of all learners and to remove unnecessary barriers to learner success.
