Updated Spectator Policy for Athletic Events Goes into Effect on January 12

The Ithaca College Department of Athletics, along with the Health Safety Advisory Group, have announced that no spectators – except for IC community members approved to be on campus – will be permitted to attend home athletic events beginning on Wednesday, January 12. This policy will remain in effect until Monday, February 7.

This policy change comes as Ithaca College prepares for the campus wide move in process and due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in the City of Ithaca and Tompkins County. The policy applies to all activities in the Hill Center, Athletics and Event Center – Glazer Arena and Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium. IC community members must present a valid ID for admission to the venues. The policy will be revisited during the first week of February with the hopes that this is a temporary decision and fans will be welcomed back to South Hill for the remainder of the winter season.

All home events will be webcast on our Ithaca Bombers YouTube channel and live stats for basketball can be found on the team’s schedule pages.

Fans of wrestling can follow this weekend’s ECWC Championship via trackwrestling.com – links will also be posted to the wrestling schedule. The January 29 Ithaca Duals will be webcast on YouTube and bout-by-bout results will be available on trackwrestling.com.

Track & field followers will be able to access this Friday’s quad meet and the Bomber Invitational on Feb. 5-6 on leonetiming.com and the track & field schedules.

Swimming & diving fans can continue to check results on the meet mobile app for upcoming events on Jan. 13, Jan. 23, Jan. 29 and Feb. 5.

Gymnastics will be webcast on January 30 against Brockport and results will be posted at the conclusion of the event.

All fans should check spectator policies for opposing schools prior to planned trips to attend away competitions. The Liberty League remains up to date with affiliate institutions on their site as well.
