Epic Concert Event to Honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The Ithaca College School of Music & Department of Theatre Arts will join forces for a concert event to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the A&E Center's Glazer Arena.

We are hopeful that outside audience will be permitted to attend. Please stay tuned to the School of Music COVID-19 safety status site for updates to live performance protocols, to ensure that visitors will be permitted on campus for this event. This concert will also be recorded and made available for viewing at a later date.

The concert event will feature School of Music choral and instrumental ensembles, musical theatre performances including from the Fall 2021 production of "Rent," The Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers, and the World Premiere of Stan Spottswood's "A Renewed America," written in honor of congressman John Lewis, with special guest soloist Markel Reed, baritone.
