By Patricia Zimmermann, February 15, 2022

To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF) has launched a new initiative called 25 for 25: Celebrating FLEFF’s Transformative Vision.

25 years

The project features a series of blog postings from former festival guest artists, filmmakers, distributors, new media makers, writers, musicians, scholars, staff, faculty, and alumns sharing the impact of FLEFF on their work.

25 FLEFFistas will write about how the festival changed their thinking, their art, their writing, and their ideas about the environment.

25 for 25 is a project to celebrate how the FLEFF has impacted participants and festival staff to think differently about the environment.
