By Rachel Schaff, March 1, 2022

The Park Center for Independent Media will partner with the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF) to mount the 25th Anniversary Edition exploring the theme of ENTANGLEMENTS.

PCIM+FLEFF

The Park Center for Independent Media (PCIM) will partner with FLEFF to mount five events exploring entanglements and media, including the book launch of The Social Media Debate, a roundtable on climate crisis and media, and the Inaugural International Congress on Climate, Media, and Science. PCIM will also co-sponsor four screenings with featured filmmakers and talkbacks.

The Park Center for Independent Media (PCIM), launched in 2008 and funded by a generous endowment from the Park Foundation, is a center for the study of media outlets that create and distribute content outside traditional corporate systems.

PCIM's mission is to engage media producers and students in dialogue and action about independent media, especially US-based outlets producing content (across single- or multiple-content platforms) on issues such as equity, social justice, and sustainability.
