Patricia Zimmermann, Charles A. Dana Professor of Screen Studies and Director of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF), presented an invited lecture entitled “ Co-creation in Environmental New Media Documentary” at Concordia University, Montreal.
The lecture elaborated on ideas in her book, Documentary Across Platforms: Media, Place, Politics (Indiana University Press, 2019) and other writing and FLEFF curatorial projects related to the issues of the COVID pandemic and protests. The event was held on Zoom.
In addition, she conducted a workshop for graduate students in the PhD program on strategies for overcoming writer’s block in research and scholarly writing to amplify scalability, sustainability, and productivity.
