The list features 20 pieces of music, ranging from the contemporary experimental rock band DakhaBrakha, to Yo Yo Ma, the Saturday Night Live cold open with the Ukrainian Chorus Dumka of New York, the Odessa National Academic Opera, a classical music flashmob in Trafalgar Square, violinist Vera Lytovchenko playing in a bomb shelter, a young Ukrainian girl singing “Let It Go,” Sting, Emanual Ax, Ukrainian Folk Song Army Remix, Vladimir Horowitz, Sergei Prokofiev, the Polyphony Project, and a Ukrainian military brass band playing at a bomb crater.
It is also a place where we hope to gather online short videos of musical interventions and events in solidarity with the people of Ukraine enduring the Russian war.
