Block 4 Workshops Offering Re-Recognition Credit! 

We have some exciting workshops being offered in Block 4. All of these will offer one re-recognition credit per organization for organizations recognized by the Office of Student Engagement. These are all currently posted on IC Engage, don't forget to RSVP! 

Collaborating as a Student Organization  The purpose of this workshop is to bring student organization leaders together to discuss tips, techniques and strategies of what has worked and what has not worked with collaborating with other student organizations. Facilitated by Gerald Graves, Student Leadership Consultant in the Office of Student Engagement.  3/23/2022 3 pm - 3:50 pm  Cayuga Lake Room
Promoting and Recruiting for your Student Organization  The purpose of this workshop is to provide guidance and tools to assist you with recruiting new members for your student organization and promoting your organization using a variety of services through the College. Facilitated by Mary Holland-Bavis, Associate Director of Student Involvement and Linnea Carchedi, Student Leadership Consultant in the Office of Student Engagement. This workshop will count towards recognition credit, organization must RSVP 24 hours in advance.   3/29/2022 2 pm - 2:50 pm  Cayuga Lake Room 
From Planning to Execution: Everything You Need to Know about Planning your Student Organization Event  The purpose of this workshop is to provide an overview of the entire event planning process for OSE recognized student organizations. Facilitated by Mary Holland-Bavis, Associate Director of Student Involvement, Hailey Aldrich, Student Leadership Consultant and Max Powers, Vice President of Business and Finance. This workshop will count towards recognition credit, organization must RSVP 24 hours in advance.  4/7/2022 4 pm - 4:50 pm  Taughannock Falls Room
Constitution Writing  The purpose of this Constitution Writing workshop is to assist student organizations with writing or revisingtheir constitution. Facilities by Mary Holland-Bavis, Associate Director of Student Engagement and Austin Ruffino, Senate Chair of SGC. Recognizing Your Student Organization Members  The purpose of this interactive workshop is to provide an overview of strategies of how organizations can recognize their members and make them feel appreciated. There will also be many craft stations to physically make appeciation gifts for your organization members! Facilitated by Mary Holland-Bavis, Associate Director of Student Involvement and Leticia Guibunda, Student Leadership Consultant in the Office of Student Engagement. This workshop will count towards recognition credit, organization must RSVP 24 hours in advance.  4/22/2022 11 am - 1 pm  Student Activities Center
Transition Workshop  The purpose of this workshop is to discuss strategies of how to smoothly handle transitions within your student organization to prepare for a successful Fall semester. Facilitated by Mary Holland-Bavis, Associate Director of Student Involvement and Connor Watson, Student Leadership Consultant in the Office of Student Engagement.
