Samantha Abrams Recognized with Beta Gamma Sigma’s 2022 Entrepreneurial Achievement Award

Samantha Abrams, Co-Founder and Head of Marketing at Emmy's Organics, has been named as a Beta Gamma Sigma 2022 Entrepreneurial Achievement Award winner. Nominated by Ithaca College's Beta Gamma Sigma chapter, Abrams receives this honor based on exemplary demonstration of leadership excellence.

The Beta Gamma Sigma Entrepreneurial Achievement Award specifically recognizes individuals who develop, organize, and enhance successful new ventures. Recipients of this signature honor have assumed the risk of starting a business or initiating a new venture/idea within a larger organization. The intent is to focus on our entrepreneurs as the people who drive innovation, and support for new ideas.

Beta Gamma Sigma chapters are eligible to nominate individuals for the Entrepreneurial Achievement Award based on the following criteria:

  • Entrepreneurs who develop, organize, and launch a successful business venture or social entrepreneurship endeavor that has demonstrated success and proven through its operational results to be a sustainable concept
  • Exemplars for ethical business leadership and the values of the Beta Gamma Sigma Society, including honor and integrity, and the pursuit of wisdom, earnestness, and service are sought.

A nominee need not have received a degree in business or be a member of Beta Gamma Sigma to receive this award.
