Louis K. Thaler Concert Violinist Series presents Alexi Kenney

The recipient of a 2016 Avery Fisher Career Grant and a 2020 Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award, Alexi Kenney is building a career that defies categorization, following his interests, intuition, and heart. He is equally at home creating experimental programs and commissioning new works, soloing with major orchestras in the USA and abroad, and collaborating with some of the most celebrated musicians of our time.
On Tuesday, March 29, at 8:15 p.m. Kenney will perform a concert, with pianist Amy Yang, in the Hockett Family Recital Hall. He will also give a masterclass tonight, Monday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. in Hockett. Concert and masterclass are both free and open to the public.
At this time, the public is welcome to campus. We request that masks be worn at concerts.
