Join the fun! School-aged children (5-12 years) are needed for OT lab sessions in the occupational therapy (OT) course “Pediatric Evaluation and Intervention”.
Please consider bringing your child for the morning or afternoon sessions with senior and graduate Occupational Therapy students who plan to observe and practice assessing different aspects of your child’s visual motor and motor development.
You may be with your child during the entire lab or may choose to wait in an area close by. Two OT instructors plan to guide the small group of students during the labs. Your child will receive a $20 Amazon gift card per lab session that they participate in.
All the labs are held in the Center for Health Sciences (CHS), room 208 and 212. Take Ithaca College’s main entrance off 96B then take the first right and then immediately take another right into the Visitor Parking lot. CHS is across the street and up the hill right beside Smiddy Hall. Come in the main door and follow the “Kids OT Lab” signs.
The school-aged child labs (5- 12 years) are scheduled for Wednesday, April 13th at 10:00 - 11:00 am and 1:30 - 2:30 pm. You may choose to participate in one or both lab sessions held on the same day with different groups of students. Capacity is limited to 20 lab participants for the day and will be granted on a first come first served basis.
This lab session is not part of a research study.
