Please join your colleagues (faculty only) for an open discussion about faculty affairs on campus, including faculty workload, reductions to benefits, and other issues. We will meet in Clarke Lounge on April 14 at 5:30pm.
We think of this as a safe space to have open conversations about policies that have had impact on faculty, students, and their education. It is helpful to have a sense of how we experience changes in benefits, salary freeze, and more, so that we can figure out collectively what changes we wish to see moving forward. We will ask everyone to abide by Chatham house rule that nothing should be reported out that reveals the identity or affiliation of participants and/or those who speak at the meeting.
We believe that any productive conversation avoids focusing on individual decision makers but rather should focus on policies that have had a negative impact on faculty, students and their education, and the long-term viability of Ithaca College.
with gratitude, Jonathan Ablard, Mat Fournier, and Patricia Rodriguez
