The Exploratory Program is looking for a student to run our social media accounts!
Those who are interested should send a cover letter and resume to Ellen Chapman at echapman@ithaca.edu by April 15th. (Exploratory students' current and past will be given priority during the application process)
Job Description:
- Create content for Instagram, Engage, and other social media to increase the visibility of the program and promote Exploratory events
- Write and send the Exploratory newsletter every Monday at 5 pm
- Pre-plan newsletters based on calendars and known events
- Communicate with faculty/departments about events to be promoted in the newsletter
- Meet weekly with the Exploratory Admin team
- Help create online videos for use in Exploring the Options (ETO)
- Video editing experience is not required, just a willingness to help where you can!
- Arrange for graduating PALs students to share their stories
- Help interview prospective PALs
- Contribute write up of processes and events to intern handbook
- Assist with other Exploratory events and tasks as needed and other duties as assigned
